Gemba Walk with Samuel Obara of Toyota Honsha – May 26, 2016

Why do so many companies try to implement lean but fail?

The journey toward sustainable, continuous improvement starts with the Gemba Walk. You cannot devise useful Kaizen/continuous improvement programs sitting at your desk, but just going out and watching does not solve your problems, either – it only makes you an “industrial tourist.”

On May 26, 2016, learn Gemba Walk with Sammy Obara, Toyota Production System (TPS) expert. Sammy brings the experience of working with 300+ companies in lean implementation.

This lean technique can be the most forgotten step in moving any organization  toward transformation
– from current state to ideal state. Without it you miss opportunities to identify real problems, coach team members, capitalize on good examples and overcome resisistance to change. Gemba Walk is where it all begins.
